Terms of use and privacy
About this document
Updated: 14 September 2026. This page brings together the terms for using monumenterituale.md, our privacy policy, and information about personal data protection and cookies. We take account of Moldova’s Law No. 195/2024, in force since 23 August 2026.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller is S.R.L. „Monumente Rituale”. Shop: 31 Alexandru cel Bun Street, Ungheni, Republic of Moldova. For orders and personal data enquiries: monumenterituale@gmail.com, +373 69 74 94 74.
Terms of use
The catalogue helps you discuss a product; it does not place orders or take payments online. Illustrations, including generated examples, show a possible appearance; portraits and dates on demonstration models are not customer data. Stone, dimensions, final details, price, availability, timing and installation are agreed separately before an order. Do not submit identity documents, payment details or unnecessary information about other people through the form. Do not use the site for spam, unlawful activities or infringement of others’ rights. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights.
What we process and why
The form requires your name, phone number, topic and enquiry details. If you contact us by email or messaging services, we also receive the data and correspondence you send. The site records the language, source page or product, submission time, acknowledgement of the privacy notice and processing/notification status. The enquiry is saved as a private WordPress record and a notification is sent to our Gmail mailbox.
Responding to a product, quotation or order enquiry is necessary for steps before a contract at your request. General enquiries and prevention of abuse rely on our legitimate interests in communication and secure operation, taking your rights into account. The checkbox acknowledges this information; it does not give permission for advertising, maps or unrelated purposes. Without contact details we cannot reply through the form. You can telephone or visit the shop instead.
How long data is kept
The website’s retention period for enquiries is 12 months. If information is needed for a separate order, legal obligation or dispute, the applicable period depends on that purpose; unnecessary information should be deleted. Technical records used to prevent duplicate requests and abuse have limited lifetimes. Backups are held separately for recovery and are not used for marketing.
The website’s retention mechanism does not delete Gmail messages or conversations in messaging apps. A deletion request is also considered for those copies; any lawful grounds for continued retention are assessed separately.
Cookies and browser data
The language cookie ‘pll_language’ remembers the language for one year; it is a technical Polylang preference, not advertising tracking.
We do not connect our own analytics systems, advertising pixels or advertising cookie categories. Your light/dark theme choice is stored in localStorage as ‘monumente-theme’ until browser data is cleared. ‘monumente-privacy’ stores map permission, date and version for 180 days, after which the site asks again. These settings do not contain an advertising identifier.
WordPress may use the technical emoji support cache ‘wpEmojiSettingsSupports’ in sessionStorage. The login page and staff sign-in use technical WordPress cookies to check the browser and authenticate users; these are not needed to browse the catalogue. The form does not save entered contact details in localStorage. The server receives your IP address and technical connection information; form protection uses derived identifiers to limit abuse.
Google Maps and external links
The embedded Google Map is optional. Its iframe is not loaded before permission. ‘Accept’ allows the map, ‘Reject’ blocks it, and ‘Settings’ lets you change the choice. You can reopen ‘Cookie settings’ in the footer of any page. Withdrawing permission removes the embedded map and prevents loading on subsequent visits while that choice remains valid.
After permission, Google receives your IP address, browser details and map interactions and may use its own cookies. Withdrawal on our site does not erase cookies already set by Google; manage those in your browser and Google settings. The map shows our shop; we do not request the visitor’s location. Direct Google Maps, WhatsApp, Viber and Telegram links open the external service you choose, where that service’s rules apply.
Recipients and transfers
Authorised staff and, where necessary, support specialists and hosting providers can access enquiries. Google provides our Gmail mailbox and, if you choose it, the map. These services may process data outside Moldova, including in the United States. We do not sell enquiries. The service’s terms and applicable lawful transfer safeguards must be considered separately; you can ask us for information about recipients and protection of your data. Map permission does not subscribe you to advertising messages.
Your rights and requests
Where the law provides, you may request access and a copy, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw map permission at any time. We do not make automated decisions with legal effects or create advertising profiles.
Write to monumenterituale@gmail.com describing your request. We may ask for proportionate identity verification where needed. We normally reply within one month; if a lawful extension is needed, we will explain the reasons and deadline. You can complain to CNPDCP: centru@datepersonale.md, 48 Serghei Lazo Street, Chișinău, MD-2004.
Security and Google’s rules
The site uses HTTPS, private enquiry records and access controls in WordPress. Technical measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security. Material changes to processing are explained in an updated version of this document.
Google Maps is subject to the Google Maps additional terms, Google Privacy Policy and Google’s cookie information.
